In this wild comedy adventure, rail passenger George Caldwell (Gene Wilder) finds that a romantic escapade with a sultry secretary (Jill Clayburgh) puts him in the middle of a Hitchcockian murder plot. Leaping on and off the train, in and out of roomettes, bars and dining cars, George teams up with an amiable, small-time crook (Richard Pryor) to defy the murderer's henchmen, FBI agents and a host of other outrageous characters.

Multumesc foarte mult pentru film, l-am cautat multa vreme (in parte si pentru ca pe vremuri, la noi in tara a rulat sub alt nume), astfel ca am ras grozav de mine-insami, cand am vazut ca de fapt, mi-era atat de aproape! M-am distrat la fel de mult ca prima data cand l-am vazut!
Multumesc inca odata, mi-ai facut o mare bucurie! Iti doresc inca pe-atat!

Silver Streak is a 1976 comedy, action and mystery film about murder on a Los Angeles-to-Chicago train journey. It stars Gene Wilder, Jill Clayburgh, Richard Pryor, Patrick McGoohan and Ned Beatty and is directed by Arthur Hiller. The film score is by Henry Mancini. This film marked the first pairing of Wilder and Pryor, who would become a well-known comedy duo. The climax of the film includes footage of an out-of-control train crashing through the wall of Union Station in Chicago.
