Inspirat dintr-o carte de benzi desenate de mare succes, filmul Bloodshot ni-l prezintă pe Ray Garrison (Vin Diesel), un soldat de elită recent ucis în acţiune, care este readus la viaţă şi transformat în super-eroul Bloodshot, de către corporaţia RST.

Fiind inoculat cu toate proprietăţile unei nano-technologii de ultimă oră, el reprezintă acum o forţă de nestăvilit - cel mai puternic războinic creat vreodată de această corporaţie - capabil acum să se auto-vindece instantaneu.

Dar, odată cu procesul de transformare a corpului său, compania i-a modificat totodată mintea şi amintirile. Când Ray începe să-şi amintească câte ceva din trecut, el nu mai ştie ce e adevărat şi ce nu - dar este hotărât să reia controlul asupra propriei sale vieţi.
