Sam (Chad Donella) is an art student who, by chance, meets a beautiful young woman named Hope (Erinn Bartlett), with whom he seems to have an instant connection. Despite writing down her phone number, Sam loses track of Hope for some time, and when he finally finds her again, she's clinically depressed. Convinced that Hope is the woman of his dreams, Sam sets out to lift her spirits and help her find happiness once again.
