Game Description
We all ask ourselves this question. When the end comes. Will we be ready? It is a question that has plagued the pinks and reds for centuries. They have lived side by side in peace for hundreds of years. But underneath their soft, squishy exteriors, each has harbored a secret hatred for the other. Slowly the tensions mounted and soon they split into factions. With that, both sides began creating and acquiring weapons of mass destruction.
Some called for an end to the madness; others wanted to release the dogs of war. They have tried to settle their differences. They have tried to make peace, but in the end, it has come to war. Armageddon is upon us! Well, upon the worms anyway.
In Worms Armageddon by Infogrames you must lead an elite team of 1 to 4 crack worm commandos against the computer or a friend in this strategy style RPG. Choose from over 13 crazy and brutal weapons from baseball bats to explosive sheep. Yes, sheep! But not just any sheep; these bad ewes will chase down any enemy they are pointed at. You can even call in an air strike and blow those invertebrates to bits. Or play cooperatively and see what wormy mayhem you can create.
Then select the options you want like how long each worm gets to fight, how many hit points each worm will have and what type of landscape you'll wage your campaign in. Just to name a few. Remember that the terrain can be helpful and harmful, after all they're just worms.

Roots & Influences
This is the third installment in a very wormy saga. While this is not actually Worms 3, it has made considerable improvements from its previous versions. One would be the addition of a two-player game versus another player. Previously, you could only play against the computer. Of course the computer was so perfect that it was impossible to beat. Then in Worms 2, they added variable levels of difficulty. But it always lacked the excitement of taking on another live player. ~ Joe Lamb, All Game Guide

The worms' armoury of brilliantly conceived classic weapons return and is built on with even more devilish devices.
The customisation options don't stop at crafting new weapons. Another first is the ability to customise your worms, choosing their hair, hands, faces, glasses and dying words - all with Worms trademark humour.
The multiplayer mayhem and single-player shenanigans are spread over five themed zones - Jurassic, Camelot, Arabian, Construction and Wild West - and, throughout the enlarged landscapes, the entirely destructible scenery is back with even greater effect
In single-player modes there's even more beyond the day-to-day business of destroying worms.
Through the 25 missions, you're also charged with objectives such as recovering items or smashing scenery. All the single-player maps are available to play in multiplayer mode, along with a further set of 20 multiplayer-specific maps.

Worms Forts: Under Siege
"Worms Forts: Under Siege" puts you in command of a crack team of up to four fort-dwelling worms. Set in the cartoon environments that will be familiar to previous "Worms" players, you direct your four strong worm garrison to quickly construct defences to maximize your strategic advantage; expand your castle so as to seize valuable victory locations and of course, build massively destructive weapons to destroy your opponents' fortifications!
Test yourself against the single player game by battling through the 20 missions... And when you've finished that, take on up to four of your friends in the frenzy of destruction that is fort vs. fort mode.
"Worms Forts: Under Siege" uniquely combines buildings and siege weapons with the dark and zany humour you have come to expect in the "Worms" universe, in true 3D battles. This is not a normal strategy game - the emphasis is firmly on console: its immediate, it's fast and it's also furious! It's a race against time to destroy your opponent first before he destroys you!
