Plot:
Sally and Gillian Owens have always known they were different. Practical Magic (1998)
Sally (Sandra Bullock) și Gillian (Nicole Kidman) Owens au știut dintotdeauna că sunt diferite de toți ceilalți copii de vārsta lor. După moartea părinților, cele două surori au fost crescute de mătușile lor Frances și Jet (Stockard Channing și Dianne Wiest) īntr-o casă īn care ciudățeniile deveniseră ceva obișnuit și nimic din ce se īntāmpla nu era normal.
Ani īn șir, Sally și Gillian au māncat ciocolată la micul dejun și, nefiind obligate să se culce seara devreme, au studiat cărți de magie albă și s-au inițiat īn această artă. Īnsă aceste practici oculte au și ele prețul lor: toți bărbații de care ele se īndrăgostesc sunt condamnați la moarte.
