Remake al filmului italian "Stanno tutti bene" din anul 1990, "Everybody's fine" urmareste experientele neplacute si bulversante ale unui barbat vaduv pe nume Frank, care descopera cu stupoare ca sotia decedata era singura conexiune pe care o avea cu copiii sai instrainati si ca nu stie prea multe amanunte despre modul in care isi castiga traiul de zi cu zi acestia. Frank decide astfel sa se urce intr-un autobuz si sa calatoreasca de-a curmezisul Statelor Unite ale Americii, de la New York pana la Las Vegas, cu scopul de a se reuni cu fiecare dintre fiii si fiicele sale si a observa cu ochii lui daca vestile care razbat pana la el in legatura cu modul de viata al acestora corespund adevarului sau nu sunt altceva decat niste minciuni pe care i le-au spus copiii pentru a-i lasa impresia ca se descurca foarte bine pe cont propriu.
