Oriunde am trai, indiferent cine suntem, toti suntem marginiti de granite ... unele reale, altele imaginare. Multi accepta sa traiasca intre aceste granite. Altii sunt fortati sa o faca. Dar unii simt nevoia sa evadeze, chiar daca ceea ce se afla dincolo este si infricosator si necunoscut. 8 Mile reda povestea acestor limite care ne definesc vietile, precum si povestea unui tanar care lupta pentru a gasi taria si curajul pentru a le depasi.
