Electronic Arts tocmai a anuntat ca lucreaza la The Godfather II, continuarea seriei de jocuri video inspirate din scrierile lui Mario Puzo. Realizat de studioul EA Redwood Stores, jocul va imbogati reteta din The Godfather cu un nou ingredient foarte important.
Astfel, The Godfather II aduce in prim plan The Don’s View, o vedere strategica asupra intregului oras, prin intermediul careia jucatorul va putea realiza un management mult mai amanuntit al afacerilor de familie. Se vor putea angaja oameni, afacerile familior inamice vor putea fi monitorizate atent si, in acelasi timp, vor putea fi dezvoltate cele proprii.
Lumea de joc va ramane open-world, iar sistemul de lupta BlackHand va fi la randul sau puternic imbunatatit. Prin intermediul acestuia, jucatorii vor putea realiza combo-uri mult mai complexe , vor putea aborda tactici de intimidare sau vor putea executa executii in cel mai pur stil mafiot.
Actiunea din The Godfather II va avea loc in anii 60, urmand ca jocul sa fie lansat in luna februarie a anului viitor, pentru PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360 si PC. Cam in aceeasi perioada va fi lansat si Mafia II, concurenta intre cele doua titluri anuntandu-se interesanta inca de acum.

Ma bucur pentru faptul ca Godfather continua (another GTA-like game). Din ce am vazut in poze mi se pare ca au imbunatatit foarte mult grafica, insa ca au si dat un aer de "consola" prin acea harta cu alegerea misiunilor... sper totusi ca accea sa aibe si alt scop si sa ne putem deplasa cu masina prin oras pana la locatia misiunilor.
Mi se pare mie, sau personajul principal seamana dubios de mult cu Tony Montana (Scarface) ?
