Celebrul bombardament japonez asupra flotei americane de la Pearl Harbor. Cel mai costisitor film din istorie peste 280.000.000 usd! Superactiune. Blockbuster-ul anului.
Într-o dimineaţă liniştită de Duminică, în decembrie, cînd copii se joacă, iar familiile merg la biserică, avione de luptă japoneze au brăzdat cerul, lansînd un atac surpriză asupra forţelor armatei americane din Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Această zi care a scos America din izolarea sa liniştită şi a aruncat-o în plin război, schimbînd cursul istoriei este oglindită într-un film despre patriotism, pasiune şi dragoste.
Povestea se axează pe evenimentele din 7 decembrie 1941, care au schimbat viaţa a doi tineri şi curajoşi piloţi (interpretaţi de Ben Affleck şi Josh Hartnett) şi a unei asistente medicale frumoase şi devotate (interpretată de Kate Beckinsale). Este povestea unei victorii eroice, a curajului şi a dragostei fără limite, a impactului devastator al războiului.

Plot:
The classic story of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor is told through the eyes of two boyhood friends, now serving as officers in the Army Air Corps.
