Sinopsis
Experimentul legat de Virusul-T, pus la cale de Umbrella Corporation, a devastat lumea transformand populatia in cete de zombi cu apucaturi de pradatori.
Resimtind nesiguranta oraselor, Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) si L.J.(Mike Epps), impreuna cu supravietuitorii Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke) si Nurse Betty (Ashanti), au adunat un grup de supravietuitori cu care au format un convoi inarmat... traversand soselele pustii ale desertului. Scopul lor este sa-si gaseasca semenii in viata... cei care nu au fost contaminati. Au dat insa peste alte creaturi care populeaza cum desertul: strigoii - iar pentru a se proteja de ele, le trebuie zeci de arme, mii de cartuse si cateva aruncatoare de flacari.
Ascunse in Nevada, la poalele unui releu parasit de transmisii radio, se afla birourile stralucitoare si laboratoarele de cercetare ale Umbrella Corporation. Avand acces la satelitul de supraveghere in timp real, Dr. Isaacs (Iain Glen) poate monitoriza convoiul in orice moment... dar ceea ce cauta el, de fapt, este o fiinta, care reprezinta nu numai cheia descoperirii antidotului salvator ci si esenta cercetarilor intreprinse la Umbrella... Alice.
Anterior sechestrata la Umbrella Corporation, Alice a fost supusa la experimente biogenice care i-au modificat genele dandu-i puteri, simturi si dexteritati supranaturale. Suferind transformari de la un minut la altul si tradata de propriul sau ADN, modificat prin ingineriile celor de la Umbrella, Alice insoteste din umbra convoiul pentru a-l proteja pana intr-o locatie unde ar putea fi in siguranta.
Membrii convoiului hotarasc sa se deplaseze spre nord, catre Alaska, ultima lor speranta de refugiu din calea strigoilor, dar mai intai trebuie sa faca o escala la Las Vegas, pentru a realimenta... Ca sa ajunga cu bine acolo, vor trebui insa sa se fereasca de sistemul de detectie al corporatiei Umbrella. |
