Descriere:

Filmul, inspirat dupa cartea cu acelasi titlu a lui Tracy Chevalier, este povestea evenimentelor din jurul tabloului , din secolul 17, al pictorului Johannes Vermeer. Se stiu foarte putine lucruri despre fata din tablou. Unii spun ca ea era o servitoare ce a locuit in casa pictorului, insa nu sunt dovezi istorice in acest sens. Astfel, acest film incearca sa recreeze misterioasa viata a fetei.
