Why?
Fifth day, fourth month, 476 A.H.E.F. , Capital Megacity of Sighundia.
I have written and I will write in this diary everything I know about myself and the world. If anybody finds it, they must know that these are not just the fantasies of a crazy visionary...
I left the HWD, I'm a deserter now; hunted by the police and the army. They have orders to kill me, no mercy for traitors. They cannot understand.
Since the war set the East on fire once again, the capital has been under martial law. All quarters controlled by a huge number of soldiers. It looks like all the civilians have vanished, devoured by the military industries, or hidden in their oppressive houses. Some quarters are under siege, the air is full of hatred, but all this is of no concern to me anymore, because I've seen beyond the veil of this reality.
I won't come back from this journey. Yet, I must know the Truth, I must find the Truth, assuming a Truth exists. It's absurd, but this is real. This dream, this nightmare, is for real. The Astral Essence shook my life, infernal visions haunt me, I lost something, my memory wiped of knowledge. I lost something but I found something else. I gained new energies, I was given unknown powers, this Axe...
Why me? Why all this? Why?
Today I finally started to understand something, finally, I know where you are. A vision showed me the way. Sector GW-7, entrance to sewer, there is a charmed passage that I must enter.
The perceptions from the Astral Essence told me that in the depths of our civilization there are secret worlds made of dark mysteries. I saw the underground temple where you are hiding.
Something will try to stop me, someone will try to drink my blood, but I saw you and I know it's you, Johan, bloody madman, prophet! You have the answers I'm looking for.
It's late, it's getting too late, life fades away, and death comes forward. I wander in the darkness, Death in my heart.
I'll find a meaning, a truth, or I shall die fighting in this battle...
