You'll need :
- Alcohol 120%
- Virtual CD 8
- The Gothic 3 MDS image (as upped my paliminco - Many thanks )
First, make sure you unmount all your images from your virtual drives.
1 : Open alcohol and mount the image in your virtual drive
2 : Now run virtual cd 8 and click create a new virtual cd
3 : The program should automaticly spin up your alchy cd image
4 : The settings here are very important, so follow carfully
- Source (unchangable): *virtual drive letter*: - GOTHIC3
- Description : GOTHIC3
- Create : - virtual CD
- Copy Template : v8 - Automatic copy
- Quick Copy File : No Quick Copy File Used
- Switch to expert copy mode : Enabled
There should be a results window at the bottom of the page about how there are problems on the cd. This is normal.
5: The next page settings are below
- CD label : GOTHIC3
Parameters for creating the virtual CD
- Fast Sector Read : DISABLED
- Fast detection of unreadable sectors : DISABLED
- Read raw sectors : ENABLED (if possible)
- Read sub-channel data : ENABLED (if possible)
Parameters relaring to the source CD drive
- Number of repear reads for each sector : 5x
- Source drive read speed : MAX
- Dynamic error correction : DISABLED
Dynamic search for bad sectors
- Number of sectors to be skipped by the dynamic search : 1
Aditional settings for creating the virtual CD
- Verify each sector : ENABLED
- Create a quick copy file : ENABLED
- Read cd geometry data : ENABLED, AUTOMATIC
6: Next page settings are below
- File name : %documents path%Virtual CDsGOTHIC3.vc4
- Add to : Local view, Create new folder Automaticly ENABLED
Compression
- Compression level : NONE
7: Leave all next page settings blank unchecked, or NONE
8: The image will now be created. This WILL take a long time due to the backwards reading required to copy TAGES
9: When complete, unmount image in alcohol, and exit it completely, and disable any running virtual drives (Alcohol, Daemon etc)
10: Mount the new image you made in virtual cd on your physical drive
11: *DISABLE YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION*
12: Fire up the game.
If it doesnt work at first, try unmounting and mounting again. It worked for me on my first attempt, allthough the game is very buggy without the first patch, but I do not want to install it in fear of it ruining all my hard work
Hope it works for you guys aswell... But if it doesnt, please dont flame me too bad, because I have tried, and I assure you it works for me. I shall soon upload a screen capture video to prove it hehe
NOTE
If it does not work for you, please dont PM me, talk to me in this thread and I will try to sort your problem out. Also, I am working on another method of bypassing X-Protect currently, which I think may be the problem. And also, I am going to buy a copy of the game so I have more to work with. This is by no means a perfect soloution... but It worked for me! So hopefully, it will for you aswell...

You have saved the island Khorinis from the forces of evil in Gothic I and
Gothic II. Now it is time to travel to the realms of the mainland. Invading
Orcs have enslaved the human kingdom. There are but a few free humans in the
icy north and the southern desert and a handful of rebels hiding in the
forests and mountains of Midland. You may either join the rebellion or serve
the Orcish Usurpers but you will ultimately tip the scales and decide the
outcome of the last war to save humanity. There is no simple linear story in
Gothic III – every game will be different and unique – but all will
ultimately lead to you deciding the fate of Myrtana.

Remember it's Jowood, so don't expect a bug-free game. (Also remeber it's
Razor1911, so DO expect a thoroughly cracked game! :)

deci sincer sunt recunoscator celor de la razor ptr k era destul de enervant sa ii dau drumu pe metoda mea . BUT IT'S WRONG ... Nimic din toate metodele/crack-urile si sugestiile din posturi nu merg .
E adevarat ca nu am varianta in german a jocului , insa ma indoiesc ca are sa mearga si cu aia . Orice crack de pe nu merge . Pun pariu ca sunt numa virusi .
Stau de mai bine de 7 ore si nu am rezolvat nimik .
SPUNETI-MI SI MIE DACA V-A MERS VREO METODA ! DACA A MERS MACAR LA 2 INSI AM S-O INCERC SI IO DE 100 de ORI .
Snoop nu stiu ce pielea mea ai facut de ti-a mers , iti sugerez sa vezi daca iti mai iese a 2-a oara si sa tii minte pasii ( sau poate ii stii deja si ii impartasesti si cu noi ? ) .
