am un hdd samsung si ...e plin de bad-uri, sectoare intregi...poat sa ii mai fac ceva? un utilitar ceva? cred ca si pe sectorul de boot am ceva ca nu mai boot-eaza nici daca instalez iar xp-ul

Daca e plin de bad-uri (si numai atunci) incearca o formatare low level. Aceasta formatare o face o data producatorul si HDD-ul poate o mai suporta de 1 - 2 ori in viata lui. NU ESTE VORBA DE COMANDA OBISNUITA FORMAT.
Formatarea s face in general cu un utilitar special care se gaseste (sau ar trebui) pe situl producatorului HDD-ului. Este extrem de riscant sa se incerce asa ceva cu un utilitar strain.
Formatarea low level este o sansa, dar nu se garanteaza recuperarea HDD-ului, nici macar cum era inainte de aceasta formatare.

De reparat nu mai ai cum, insa daca dai un Scandisk gen cel de DOS "Surface scan" sau cum era la Windows 95/98 sa dai Through test si bifezi Surface Scan
Daca faci asta NU se vor repara sectoarele respective, ci vor fi marcate ca BAD astfel incat Windows-ul va stii ca 'nu sunt bune' si va evita scrierea pe ele. (pana la un format)
