Howard Linskey's debut novel 'The Drop' was a Times newspaper 'Top 5 Thriller of the Year' in 2011 and his follow-up 'The Damage' a 'Top 12 Best Summer Read' in the same newspaper in 2012. His Newcastle based crime stories have been optioned for television by David Barron, producer of the Harry Potter films, for his Runaway Fridge Productions. Howard's latest novel 'The Dead' Completes the David Blake trilogy.
Howard has worked as a barman, journalist, catering manager and marketing manager for a celebrity chef, as well as in a variety of sales and account management jobs. He has written for newspapers, magazines and web sites on a number of subjects. Howard is a very long-suffering Newcastle United fan. Originally from Ferryhill in County Durham, Howard now lives in Hertfordshire with his wife Alison and daughter Erin.
