Free FLAC to MP3 Converter is a small but effective software with a title that says it all - it can encode FLAC files to the MP3 format.
This way, you can listen to your favorite music on external devices which don't support FLACs.
The interface of the program consists of a simple window in which your options are pretty much limited.
You can import FLACs into the queue by using the file browser or the "drag and drop" method (batch processing is supported). Here you can view the file names and locations.
Now, all you have to do is set the output folder (which can be the same as the root or different) and initiate the conversion process. During this time, you can view progress bars for all files and the current one.
