Ar putea oare dietele trecutului să-i ajute pe cei care vor să slăbească īn prezent? Īn acest serial, nouă voluntari din secolul XXI petrec 24 de zile īncercānd diete şi regimuri de slăbit care erau populare īn perioada victoriană, īn cea eduardiană şi īn "sălbaticii ani '20". Dieta Banting, publicată pentru prima oară īn 1863, "dieta mestecatului" din anii 1900 sau dieta Lulu, bazată pe numărarea caloriilor, cea mai bine vāndută publicaţie neficţională din 1922?
