-PRIEST, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller, is set in an alternate world -- one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on a quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. Un preot războinic porneşte o luptă dură pentru a-şi salva nepoata care fusese răpită de nişte vampiri. După secole de lupte sāngeroase, omenirea a cāştigat bătălia īmpotriva hoardelor vampirilor, cei mai de temut inamici ai planetei. Cei cāţiva rămaşi au fost duşi īn rezerve izolate, īn vreme ce oamenii s-au refugiat īn oraşe conduse de Biserică. Īn timpul războaielor cu vampirii, preoţii fuseseră instruiţi combatanţi, iar acum trăiesc īn izolare, fiind evitaţi de vecini. Această situaţie este pe cale să se schimbe pentru un preot veteran, a cărui nepoată este răpită de vampiri. El cere ajutorul superiorilor, dar este refuzat, aşa că īși propune să īncalce legea Bisericii pentru a-şi salva nepoata. Īn cruciada pe care o porneşte este īnsoţit de iubitul fetei, un tānăr şerif şi de o fostă preoteasă războinică care posedă abilităţi de luptă supranaturale.(Cinemarx)
