DirectUpdate can make it so that it will be permanent and easy to remember (DNS-like) address. Additional features include the ability to chime with disconnection, remote control, sending notifications by e-mail and much more, including the installation of Windows 2K/XP/2003/Vista/7 as a service.
DirectUpdate killer features' are:
- Full NT service (NT4.0/2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/7) and service-like (98/Me).
- Remote administration.
- Secured (SSL or MD5) updates (when supported by server).
- Built-in administration web server.
- Supports many accounts.
