Have you ever heard of Symfollies™? Symfollies™ is a magic world. The inhabitants are the musical instruments from a symphonic orchestra. The life of these inhabitants is very similar to our life but has its particularities. The characters do not communicate by means of language, like we do, but all their actions and expressions are emphasized through classical music.
In Symfollies™ the leading characters are father Bass, mother Celine, their son Stradi and daughter Viola. Or all together: the violin family. Together with the other instruments of the symphonic orchestra, they go through exciting, funny and touching adventures.
Symfollies™ is a total project completely based on this imaginary world.
The basic idea of Symfollies™ is to introduce the sound of classical music to children in a pleasant and playful way. Symfollies is very open, very accessible to children or even families with children. Children are highly fascinated by the animation and hear the classical music at the same time. Without realizing it, they get in touch with the sounds and melodies of this musical genre and start to enjoy the sound of classical music!
Symfollies™ makes use of different communication channels to reach the children: television, new media tools (internet), live concerts, educational projects, multimedia and merchandising (s.a. dvd’s, cd’s, books, toys, games and much more).
