Once upon a time, our planet was populated by monsters: bizarre, dressed in armor, and carnivorous insects whose bite was fatal, and even multi-ton herbivores.

With the help of advanced computer graphics, location filming, interviews with the authors try to give a detailed picture of how these ancient creatures looked like and where they live, how to die. Viewers will learn how these giants were wiped out by the fall of comets, asteroids and volcanic eruptions, change the chemical composition of the planet.

Documentary will also tell how paleontologists have discovered these creatures, and found a new meaning to the ancient chronicles.
