Touted as the most romantic event to grace the ruined halls of Ireland's Castle Malloy, the Simmons-Mallory wedding was supposed to be a fairytale beginning, but now the groom is missing! Did a banshee crash the wedding or is this a case of cold feet? Can you, as Nancy Drew, unravel the knot of scattered clues and scary superstitions? You'll need to catch more than a bridal bouquet to make this a happily ever after!
In Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy, Nancy Drew arrives in Ireland for what should be the joyous occasion of her friend’s wedding. When the unthinkable happens and the groom is nowhere to be found, Nancy must put her detective skills to work to determine if this is a case of cold feet or something far more sinister. Many of the local residents recount age-old rumours of a banshee haunting the Castle Malloy, and that has Nancy wondering if this rumoured spirit has played a part in the groom’s disappearance.
As Nancy, players will immerse themselves in Irish folklore, and play elaborate puzzles centered around her friend’s wedding such as designing floral bouquets, creating seating charts and printing wedding programs. The bride’s best man is also the ex-boyfriend, so perhaps this isn’t your typical love story and Nancy may have to sort through a possible love triangle to discover the truth.
