WinArchiver is a powerful archive utility, which can open, create, and manage archive files. It supports almost all archive formats, including zip, rar, 7z, iso, and other popular formats. WinArchiver can also mount the archive to a virtual drive without extraction.

MZP is the new archive format supported by WinArchiver. It supports data compression, encryption, and file spanning. WinArchiver can be used to create and manuplate MZP archives. The MZP archive can also be mounted as virtual drive instantly with WinArchiver Virtual Drive, thus you can access files in the archive without extraction. Compared with other archive formats, MZP archives can be mounted more efficiently.

L-am testat si pot spune ca comprima anumite fisiere mult mai tare ca si WinRAR setate amandoua pe best
Exemplu:
un fisier psd de 60,7MB l-a comprimat in format mzp la 31.6MB in timp ce WinRAR tot pe optiunea best l-a comprimat 37.3MB. Insa timpul de comprimare a fost aproape triplu 36s fata de 12 secunde WinRAR.
De asemenea folderul care continea Xmedia recode de 14,4MB

Foarte interesant e ca tot de pe acelasi site se poate descarca Virtual Drive care este gratuit si lucreaza in tandem cu WinArchiver. Acest program creaza un drive virtual in care pot fi montate arhive rar, mzp, zip, 7zip si chiar imagini iso.

Astfel nu mai trebuie sa dezarhivam inainte , putand accesa direct continutul lor ca de pe un DVD dar cu o viteza de HDD.
