Near future. The political situation in the world of tense to the limit because of the extremely unpleasant incident: in the sky over Eastern Europe, the U.S. missile shot down an airliner by a commercial flight. As a result of the disaster all on board were killed. The U.S. government officially declared nothing to do with what happened. One of the most experienced agents of U.S. intelligence Michael Thornton entrusted the task to investigate and find the culprits of the tragedy to prevent a looming international conflict.
