Windows 7 starter,home basic... consuma mai putine resurse decat windows 7 ultimate?

Daca da,care versiune consuma ca xp-ul?

Nu există aproape nicio diferență ... poate că Ultimate are câteva servicii în plus care consumă o ”cantitate” nesemnificată de resurse ... un impact mult mai mare îl au programele care le instalezi tu (care rulează cu sistemul: antivirus, firewall și alte prostii) ...

1.Teoretic DA!! (d.p.d.v. al serviciilor pornite)
2. Niciunul! ....adica xp-ul se misca mai bine pe aceeasi configuratie.

Se spune ca Windows Ultimate are in plus fata de Home basic sau starter parca vre-o 10 Procese deschise in plus 

Cat despre faza cu XP-ul .... NU consuma cat XP-ul nici daca ii setezi grafica 0 si tema de win 95 + sa mai bagi si tema aero la XP , tot nu consuma mai putin ( eu stiu ca pe Ultimate cu Grafica inexistenta si tema de win 95 consuma 800 MB RAM , pe acolo... nu am salvat prea mult ,

Windows 7 Starter

    Windows 7 Starter is the edition of Windows 7 that contains the fewest features. The Windows Aero theme is not included in this version. Windows 7 Starter is only available in a 32-bit version. The desktop wallpaper, and Visual Style (Windows 7 Basic) is also not user-changeable. It also doesn't support .NET Framework.[10]

This edition is available pre-installed on computers, especially netbooks, through system integrators or computer manufacturers using OEM licences.[11][12][13]
[edit] Windows 7 Home Basic

    Windows 7 Home Basic is available in emerging markets such as Brazil, the People's Republic of China, Colombia, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Mexico, Russia, Thailand, and Turkey.[14] It is not available in first world countries including in Western and Central Europe, North America, Hong Kong, Australia and Saudi Arabia.[14] Some Aero options are excluded along with several new features.[14] Home Basic, along with other editions sold in emerging markets, include geographical activation restriction, which requires users to activate Windows within a certain region or country.[15]

    This edition contains features aimed at the home market segment, such as Windows Media Center, Windows Aero and multi-touch support.[16]

[edit] Windows 7 Professional

    This edition is targeted towards enthusiasts and small business users.[17] It includes all the features of Windows 7 Home Premium, and adds the ability to participate in a Windows Server domain.[17] Additional features include operating as a Remote Desktop server, location aware printing, Encrypting File System, Presentation Mode, Software Restriction Policies (but not the extra management features of AppLocker) and Windows XP Mode.[17] Like Enterprise, Microsoft will support this edition until 2020.

    This edition targets the enterprise segment of the market and is sold through volume licensing to companies which have a Software Assurance contract with Microsoft.[18] Additional features include support for Multilingual User Interface (MUI) packages, BitLocker Drive Encryption, and UNIX application support.[18] Not available through retail or OEM channels, this edition is distributed through Microsoft Software Assurance (SA).[18] As a result it includes several SA-only benefits, including a license allowing the running of multiple virtual machines, and activation via VLK.[19] Like Professional, Microsoft will support this edition until 2020.

    Windows 7 Ultimate contains all of the same features as Windows 7 Enterprise, but unlike the Enterprise edition, it is available to home users on an individual license basis.[20] Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 Professional users are able to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate for a fee using Windows Anytime Upgrade if they wish to do so.[7] Unlike Windows Vista Ultimate, the Windows 7 Ultimate edition does not include the Windows Ultimate Extras feature or any exclusive features as Microsoft had stated.[20] However, even though it is the consumer equivalent to Enterprise, Microsoft will only support Ultimate until 2015, as per Home Premium.


Daca nu ai 2 sau 3 GB de RAM si un procesor dual sau quad core nu iti recomamd Windows 7. Daca ai - atunci iti bati joc de calculator sa tii XP-ul pe "muschii" aia.
