Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures aired for only two seasons, originally broadcast on CBS from 1987-1988. The animated television series sported an updated Mighty Mouse for Saturday morning audiences. It was briefly rerun on Saturday mornings on the Fox Kids cable network in November 1992.Mike Mouse was a factory worker whom on occasion would break away at a moment's notice to crush a villain or save a damsel in distress. Mouseville certainly wasn't without its share of imbecile cats, but somehow, Mighty Mouse made the world a safer place by every day's end. Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures was directed and produced under the watchful eyes of Ralph Bakshi and John Kricfalusi.
The entire series was released on DVD on January 5, 2010.
