A huge torpedo bomber used extensively in the Battle of Midway in World War II, the Grumman Avenger TBM was a unique fighting aircraft and this video shows a fully restored TBM being put through its paces. Elsewhere in this program, former Navy pilot Harry Badgerow shares his experiences in the great war, including trying to land a TBM on an aircraft carrier as Japanese kamikazes were crashing into the deck!
