Plot:Laure Bidwell marries wealthy rancher Will Isham for security although she still loves Owen Merritt, a small rancher. Owen's neighbor, school teacher Nan Melotte, warns Owen that the somewhat-rightfully-so jealous Owen is determined to destroy him. When Owen is wounded in a gun battle set up by Isham, he is nursed by Nan. Isham sets a trap for Owen, but he himself ends up being killed by his own hired gunman, Fay Dutcher.
