Ultra-rare workprint of this horror favourite, a full 11 minutes longer than the version which was released. Additional footage includes:
* In "Father's day", the scene where Yarbro gets shot was supposed to be much more graphic, he was originally supposed to get shot in the face and it was followed with a scene where Bedelia is at a morgue looking at his corpse, this scene was shown in the trailer. And Richard explains to Hank how Nathan Grantham got his money because in the early 1900's, Nathan was involved in bootlegging, extortion, and murder-for-hire, That explains Bedilia calling her father a "bootlegger, killer, murderer" at his grave.
* In "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill", Jordy imagines going to the loan department, When asked where he got the money to pay off the loan, he replies "It just fell from the sky".
* In "Something to Tide You Over", it shows Richard shoveling sand on Harry, Harry complains that he can't breathe. In a scene that was filmed but never made it, Richard flees from the sea-zombies into the bathroom, and when he slams the door shut the sea-zombie Harry gets his arm caught and his hand comes off. The hand comes to life and crawls after Richard.
* In the end of "The Crate" Wilma's severed, chewed face comes floating to the top after the monster escapes the crate.

Info about Zbigniew Rybczynski: He was born on January 27, 1949 in Lodz, Poland, but was raised in WARSAW, where he attended an art high school and was trained as a painter. Then he studied cinematography in the then world-famous Film Academy of Lodz.
After receiving an Oscar for TANGO as Best Animated Short in 1982, he and his family emigrated to the USA and NYC. He created many outstanding music videos, for artists such as Art of Noise, Mick Jagger, Pet Shop Boys, Chuck Mangione, Lou Reed and also for John Lennon's Imagine.
His work in film and video has earned him numerous awards including three MTV Music Video Awards, three American Video Awards, three Monitor Awards for Best Director, the 1986 Billboard Music Video Award for Most Innovative Video, the 1986 BPI Video of the Year Award, as well as grand prizes at the Festival at Annecy, France 1981, the Oberhausen Film Festival in both 1979 and 1981 and the Rio International Film Festival in 1987. For more than 30 music videos produced by Zbig, MTV awarded him the MTV Video Vanguard Award for his role as a "visionary in the field of music video." In 1990, Zbig won his first Emmy award for special effects produced in his film, The Orchestra, a one-hour classical music HDTV program for PBS. It was the first Emmy ever awarded to a High Definition production. Later that year, he was honored for all of his work in HD by the Japanese Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications for his outstanding work advancing the uses of HD technology. In Italy, he was awarded the Premio Internazionale Leonardo for his overall contribution to video, and in France, the Paris Cite for "outstanding achievement" in HD.
In 1992 he won Special Festival Prize at the International Electronic Cinema Festival Tokyo/Montreux and the Special Jury Award at the San Francisco International Festival 1993 for Kafka.

The Town that Dreaded Sundown is a 1976, R-rated horror film directed by (and co-starring) Charles B. Pierce. It is based on the Phantom Killer, who murdered five people in the 1940s in the city of Texarkana, Texas, at Spring Lake Park and was never caught. The film is presented similarly to Unsolved Mysteries, with a narrator dictating the actions as they are shown. Ben Johnson stars as the law-enforcement officer attempting to catch the killer. Dawn Wells (Mary Ann of Gilligan's Island) appears as one of the victims. Although the movie claims "only the names have been changed", much of the film is fabricated from the real events.

A tongue-in-cheek psycho movie in "Duo-vision." The entire feature employs the split-screen technique used in parts of Brian De Palma's "Sisters" that same year. As a handyman at a seacoast hotel, Randolph Roberts wears a monster mask while he kills and dismembers women with blond hair. Tiffany Bolling is a singer, Scott Brady is a detective and Edd "Kookie" Burns is a lifeguard. The music is the original organ score for the silent film "Phantom of the Opera." (IMDB)

The Brotherhood of the Bell is a 1970 made-for-television movie produced by Cinema Center 100 Productions and starring Glenn Ford. The director Paul Wendkos was nominated in 1971 by the Directors Guild of America for "outstanding directorial achievement in television." David Karp wrote the screenplay based on his novel that had been previously filmed as a Studio One episode in 1958. (IMDB)
