Sinopsis:
Alex Browning este un student cu inzestrari paranormale care are o premonitie sumbra in legatura cu propriul sau destin si al prietenilor sai. La imbarcarea in avionul cu destinatia Franta el presimte o nenorocire si, dupa ce isi convinge colegii ca aparatul va exploda in zbor, cere pilotului sa ii lase la sol. Avionul decoleaza fara Alex si prietenii acestuia si va sari in aer chiar la desprinderea de pe pista, fara ca vreun pasager sa supravietuiasca.
Ca o ironie a sortii, la cateva zile dupa aceasta tragedie, toti cei care i-au dat crezare lui Alex si au coborat din avion, vor pieri, unul dupa altul, in tot felul de accidente bizare si violente. FBI-ul declanseaza o ancheta pentru a lamuri cauzele accidentului aviatic, iar pe lista lor de suspecti Alex ocupa prima pozitie. Desi nu pot dovedi implicarea sa in producerea catastrofei, agentii sunt convinsi ca Alex nu este strain de tot ce s-a intamplat. Neobisnuitele morti succesive ale prietenilor sai nu fac decat sa intareasca suspiciunile FBI.
