Rezumat
Dupa ce este tradat si pe punctul de a fi ucis de catre lacomul lui partener, ofiterul de politie din Los Angeles Rolland Sallinger este obligat de catre superiorii sai ierarhici sa se pensioneze pe motive medicale si este parasit de toata lumea din jurul lui. Salvarea pare sa vina sub forma propunerii unui bogat si influent om de afaceri din New Mexico de a-l angaja ca garda de corp pentru frumoasa lui fiica Allegra. Atunci cand un grup de mafioti o rapesc pe fata, Rolland Sallinger trebuie sa recurga la toate abilitatile sale de fost politist, sa apeleze la toate talentele ascunse de care dispune si sa faca o adevarata demonstratie de forta pentru a reusi sa ii gaseasca pe rapitori, sa o smulga pe fiica omului de afaceri din mainile lor si sa o protejeze.
