Poate te ajuta asta.
Keyboards are indispensable in spite of the graphic user interface that is prevalent in the desktop computer; we could not do away with it. So a little of background about keyboards. Each time that we press or release a key, the keyboard controller sends a PC scan code corresponding to that particular key to the system. If we hold down a key, windows will wait to receive a break code. If we don’t release it in time the Basic Input Output System (BIOS) will begin to repeat the key.
There are two important parameters that could affect the keyboard response:
1. repeat delay 2. repeat rate
Inside Windows we could set the interval of time for repeat delay. This time interval will be used to wait for a break code before it will start to repeat the key being pressed. On the other hand; we have the repeat rate which is specify to Windows how fast to repeat the key.
Based on the above we could make the keyboard more responsive by the following:
1. specify a minimum repeat delay value 2. choose a faster repeat rate
How to change the keyboard settings in Windows:
1. Select Start -> Control Panel the Control Panel windows will open 2. double click the keyboard icon the Keyboard Properties window will open 3. select the desired values for both repeat delay and repeat rate 4. click APPLY and OK button to save the change |
