There's no rest for the wicked when a conductor becomes possessed by a dead arsonis't killer spirit whenever he sleeps. Kolchak, fighting his own urge to slumber, must exhume the arsonist's body to reunite it with his spirit.

Politics can be murder when a Senator sells his own soul to the devil in exchange for the ability to destroy his opposition.
Episode 8 - Bad Medicine
It's a gem of a case when Kolchak battles a cursed Native American medicine man who is condemned to walk the earth for eternity, constantly collecting a horde of jewels.

A man's sleep state manifests a murderous "boogey-man" from the Cajun Bayou, and Kolchak takes to the sewers of Chicago to battle the slimy creature with the only weapon that can kill it: a spear made of bayou gumwood.

A new hospital is plagued by a series of electrocutions, and Kolchak discovers that the burial spot of a Native American "bear-god" spirit was awakened by the hospital's construction. Will Kolchak be able to drive the poltergeist back into hibernation before it's too late.

Trust becomes the enemy when Kolchak combats a Hindu demon that assumes the form of a person's most faithful friend in order to access its victims.

While writing an obituary for a deceased scientist, Kolchak is unable to determine exactly how the man died. His further investigation reveals Project R.I.N.G.: the development of an artificially intelligent- and possibly homicidal- robot.

When young men are dying of heart attacks on a college campus, Kolchak sharpens his pencil and learns about an acient tablet from the Middle East that is linked to a bloodthirsty creature taking the form of beautiful women.

An Aztec cult tries to resurrect an ancient god by sacrificing the hearts of five victims. Kolchak races against the clock to save the fifth and final victim from a grisly death.

Plans to convert a museum into a disco are thwarted when citizens involved with the project becomes victims of deadly medieval weaponry.

Dating can be murder when the young patrons of an exclusive dating service begin dying-of old age.
