situation is that my cousin tried finding the hangover by googling. He started downloading it but closed da link before it finished. he was downloading spyware. Now my internet explorer doesnt work but everything else does.
I tried system restore on my Vista but it keeps shutting down. can some1 help me?

That's a biggie  . I advise a thorough Malwarebytes scan of the entire pc. Link here :
If the problem is not fixed and you have IE7, please download IE8. If, however, you have this on IE8, then remove it, see if IE7 works and reinstall IE8. Get back to us if the problem persists.
