Un ansamblu celebru de animale adorabile e atractia principala din aceasta aventura fur-blanoasa si iute din palpitantul Hollywood, unde febletea tuturor, potaia atotstiutoare Lucky, dovedeste ca e de milioane cand vine vorba de dragoste si rasete. Lucky sare in ajutor cand stapana lui, Maya Dolittle (Kyla Pratt) da de bucluc in stil hollywoodian. Renuntand la visul de a deveni veterinar, Maya (si Lucky) pleaca la Los Angeles, unde datorita talentului ei de a vorbi cu animalele obtine o slujba de mediator intr-un talk-show cu animale cu renumita mostenitoare Tiffany Monaco (Tegan Moss). Dar cand Lucky se indragosteste de o javra de rasa, Maya se plictiseste de ineptiile lui Tiffany despre cum sa ajute animalele. Si tocmai cand Maya crede ca va ramane in Tinseltown pentru totdeauna si nu va deveni niciodata veterinar, Lucky, noua lui prietena si o haita intreaga de prieteni sar, dau zor, zboara si se strecoara trecand la fapte pentru a salva situatia.
