Here's my try at a skin converter, inspired by SkiGo but written from scratch and with some flexibility to play with.
Feedback welcome, as well as input from skinners on what new rules need to be added and whether the existing ones make sense.

Am testat skigo dar ala face DOAR transformare din 320_240 si rezultatul trebuie ajustat pentru al face functionabil. Programul asta ce stie?

acu am testat-o. Face transformari intre oricare rezolutii dar, probabil pt ca nu are ca referinta data.zip da ceva mai multe erori. Oricum pt o versiune beta e ok.

dansidragos, problema la programul asta e nu ca nu ar face transformarile corect ci ca NU este programat sa faca adaugirile necesare la trecerea de la o rezolutie la alta (pt. ca fiecare rezolutie are un specific de definitii si comenzi). De aceea ar trebui sa aiba niste rezolutii predefinite cu elemente specifice (desi nici asta nu ajuta pt ca fiecare skin are specificul lui)....

Known Issues: Gurjon skin variables still incorrectly converted.

Change Log:
- many improvements and bugfixes
- support for internal conversion of multipal bitmaps (iPIE no longer needed)
- fixed some transparency issues, but in some cases the magenta transparent color still blends with the foreground
- fixed zoom feature, it was not working at all
- .spr files now copied and converted when scaling files from "common" directory
Many memory errors are due to directories not being deleted when they should, so heed the warning messages telling you to delete from Explorer.

 de la ver. 0.7 ai4gu (dezvoltatorul) a ajuns la concluzia ca e necesara o referinta cu data.zip (referinta folosita in programul de inceput- SkiGo, apoi pierduta pe parcurs) asa ca numarul de erori scade si pictogramele sunt mai bine aliniate. Mai este ceva de lucru la conversie dar pista e buna. Poate iase totusi o treaba buna!

Ti-am zis eu ca @ai4gu nu se lasa!
Desi, m-am cam "dezumflat" astazi dupa ce m-am chinuit jumatate de zi sa transform skin-ul Riks v3.6a pentru rezolutia 400x234.
Bineintele ca nu am reusit ... dupa ce am "remediat" vreo 50 de erori ... m-au last nervii!

acest igoskin... face o transformare "directa" dintr-o rezolutie intr-alta (acum face si o comparatie partiala cu rezolutia tinta din data.zip) dar skinurile au diferite elemente in plus sau minus intre rezolutii. E practic imposibil ca un program sa aiba "idei" si sa realizeze corect aceste structuri. De obicei pentru transformare eu ma bazez pe rezolutii tinta de la skinuri asemanatoare si adaug liniile lipsa.
2. programul realizeaza conversia bmp-urilor dupa rapoartele imaginii initiale si finale dar, de multe ori, NU este necesara modificarea decat pe o dimensiune sau chiar deloc. Astea sunt fineturi ce nu prea se pot cuantifica.
