Wall-E este povestea ultimului robot de pe Pamant. Actiunea are loc in jurul anului 2700, iar datorita consumului imens si necontrolat, Pamantul a fost acoperit complet de gunoi. Iar pentru a face curatenie, toata lumea a trebuit sa plece de pe planeta si sa lase in loc milioane de roboti ce aveau misiunea sa curete gunoiul si sa faca Pamantul locuibil inca o data.

Insa programul a esuat cu exceptia unui singur robot ce continua sa-si faca linistit treaba. Totusi povestea nu este una SF ci mai degraba una de dragoste.Wall-E se indragosteste de EVE, o proba ce coboara pe Pamant pentru a verifica starea mediului. EVE isi da seama ca robotelul a descoperit cheia supravietuirii planetei si fuge inapoi spre noua casa a oamenilor pentru a comunica vestea cea buna.

Micul robotel, manat de dragostea pentru proba porneste intr-o calatorie prin galaxie in urmarirea acesteia. In aceasta aventura a sa Wall-E nu calatoreste singur, fiind insotit de o gasca de roboti defecti si de un gandac.
