Soldiers of Anarchy is a real-time squad-based tactics game set in the near future. Civilization as we know it has been wiped out by a genetically engineered disease and the paranoia in the aftermath. Death counts are over millions and countries had to take drastic measures like sending nukes to their own cities. A small group of soldiers and scientists has managed to survive in a military bunker, but barely. After ten years, the group decides they can not take the boredom of sitting in the bunker anymore so they decide to investigate the surrounding area.
The game is loosely mission based, and has RPG elements like skill/stat improvement, inventory management. Each mission has primary objectives, including but not limited to, destruction of enemy personnel, infiltration of enemy bases, exploration of foreign territory. You are in command of a small squad consisting of up to twelve soldiers. Starting with almost no equipment, your soldiers will loot weapons and vehicles. Vehicles range from land based APCs and tanks to helicopters and airplanes. Also a large arsenal of modern weaponry is available, with explosives, grenades and rocket launchers for adding verity. As your soldiers discover the world around them and overcome the various obstacles they gain levels and various special skills such as explosives, sharpshooter and medic.
