In Korea, a country where gadgets might as well be their national currency, electronic dictionaries are all the rage. Why? I have no idea. You'd think they'd have them built into their phones or their arms by now, but here we are.

At least they manage to make their electronic dictionaries look appropriately slick. This iRiver d27 e-dictionary is a classy little affair with its full QWERTY keyboard. In addition to being, well, a dictionary, it can be loaded up with music and pictures and can even read ebooks. That's what I'm talking about. I knew they wouldn't just put out a plain old dictionary over in Korea without some bells and whistles. I'm glad I wasn't let down.
