Deși s-a înfruntat cu trei ticăloși super puternici de pe planeta sa, Superman a salvat omenirea. Dar oare poate super puterea să-i facă față unui circuit diabolic al unui computer criminal?!

Adică Gus Gorman (Richard Pryor), o inteligență genială care pare a fi un geniu în progamarea computerelor. Tastele computerului în mâinile sale, se transformă într-o armă mortală…și în curând Superman se află față în față cu amenințarea microelectronică.

Clark Kent se întâlnește cu vechea sa dragoste, Lana Lang (Anette O’Toole) la reuniunea liceului Small Ville, iar Superman devine cel mai de temut inamic al său după expunerea la o bucată mare, artificială de criptonită.
