Un film despre atentatul cu bombă de la Jocurile Olimpice de la Atlanta, din 1996, când, datorită vigilenței lui Jewell, unul dintre cei care asigura paza stadionului, o mulțime de vieți au fost salvate. Explozia a avut totuși loc, însă acest lucru s-a petrecut pe fondul retragerii spectatorilor de pe stadion, fiind evitată astfel o tragedie si mai mare. Cu toate acestea, viața lui Jewell a fost dată peste cap. În urma plasării sale pe lista de suspecți a FBI-ului, cele mai mici detalii ale vieții sale au fost investigate, iar mass media i-a urmărit fiecare mișcare mai multe luni și l-a tratat drept principal suspect al atentatului.
