Acțiunea se petrece într-un ținut fascinant și extrem de avansat din punct de vedere tehnologic și are în centru un bărbat de vârstă mijlocie (Clooney), care, pentru a salva Pământul, trebuie să facă tot posibilul pentru a se întoarce în Tomorrowland, asta după ce a fost izgonit de aici, pe când era copil, de către omul care și-a petrecut întreaga viață (Laurie) exploatând minunățiile ținutului în interes propriu.
