Dragostea pluteste în aer, iar magia este la un pas cand un inventator de la începutul secolului 20, Andrew, si sotia sa Adrian organizeaza în decorul pastoral nunta pompoasa a filosofului Dr. Leopold si a tinerei sale logodnice, Ariel. Cand însa la festivitate apar cel mai bun prieten al lui Andrew, lascivul Dr. Maxwell Jordan, si carnala sa asistenta, Dulcy, se pregatesc rapid premisele unui sir de planuri de seductie zadarnicite, combinatii nereusite si confuzii magice: Maxwell se îndragosteste de Ariel, Ariel îl seduce pe Andrew, Leopold se culca cu Dulcy – iar mireasa si mirele spun “Da” oricui... dar nu si unul celuilalt!
