Filmul spune povestea unui cuplu, Anna (Zoe Lister-Jones) și Ben (Adam Pally), care se ceartă mereu. Ei sunt sfătuiți de terapeutul lor să încerce să-și rezolve problemele într-un mod neconvențional și să se folosească de iubirea comună față de muzică. Ei se hotărăsc să-și transforme certurile în cântece și, cu ajutorul vecinului lor Dave (Fred Armisen), ei formează o trupă. Filmul este o poveste despre dragoste, pierdere și rock&roll.
