Proteus 8 is a electronics circuit board design, PCB circuit board assembly and prototyping software that can also be used to for real time simulation of microcontroller such as 8051, design of schematics of electronics and external electrical circuits and PCB(printed circuit board) design.
This multifunctional circuit board design software allows to quickly verify your design, perform analysis, simulation and produce a working electronics product. Proteus is developed and produced by Labcenter Electronics. There are many great feature but some are like once you had build a working prototype and later on you want to change some connectivity in the schematics, the changes are reflected in the PCB, BoM and design explorer.
Another great feature of Proteus circuit design and PCB prototying software is that you can actual view whether designed circuit with the micro-controller are working or not with input and output response.
