Halifax at War: The Story of a Bomber (2005)
HALIFAX AT WAR tells the forgotten story of the Halifax bomber which, during World War II, flew nearly 40,000 missions over enemy territory. Though few remain, and opinions on their performance were mixed, many veterans retain fond memories of these sturdy bombers. They recount these remembrances in this documentary which recounts the engineering, battlefield operation, and latter-day attempts to restore these fabled bombers back to their former glory.
