1.Exit out of Yahoo Instant Messenger if you have it open. Choose "Messenger" at the top left and select "Sign Out." Click "Yes" to "Are you sure you want to sign out of Yahoo Messenger?"
2.Open Internet Explorer. Click "Tools" in the top-right corner and select "Internet Options."
3.Click the "Security" tab and click the "Custom Level" button. Look through the list and find "Script ActiveX controls safe for scripting" and select "Enable." Scroll down to "Scripting -- Active Scripting" and select "Enable." Scroll down to Scripting or Java applets" and select "Enable."
4.Click "OK," and then click "OK" again. Close Internet Explorer by clicking the "X" in the upper-right corner.
