Intact means that it is the same as the retail disc. This is an exact rip a disc in North America. So this is not one of those "no activation required" type deals. In my experience, pre-activated yet asked me for activation, because MS made it fashionable. But read on and discover why this is better!
Retail? Would not that mean you have to activate?

The installation is in English, but you can change the language after any of the languages ??listed below via Windows Update.
