Map&guide truck navigator uses routing that is optimised for lorries. It also considers specific attributes stored in the Map material:
Roads closed to lorries
Restrictions such as weight, axle load, vehicle length, vehicle clearance heights and widths
Restrictions for hazardous goods, water-pollutants and explosive substances as well as roads closed to trailers
New: Users can configure the truck's vehicle profile (height, width, weight, axle load, hazardous goods etc.) on a mobile device at any time. That way, the navigation system always applies the right route restrictions and circumstances (e.g. empty run or loaded run). Save as many profiles as you want and access them with one click.
New: The navigation system can alert drivers to relevant dangers such as sharp turns, overhanging trees, steep inclines, uneven roads and side winds.
Truck specific routing
Normal navigation systems are designed for cars, but truck drivers have different needs:
Troublesome side streets are avoided to provide the kind of navigation lorries need.
map&guide truck navigator automatically avoids residential areas in its routing. The truck enters the residential area at the very last moment before reaching its destination.
New: Drivers can decide how often to avoid side streets and city through roads. They simply choose from different routing profiles.
New: U-turns are avoided on undivided roads.
New: The navigation system knows when destinations and starting points are in restricted areas such as
pedestrian malls or factory grounds. Even then, it will guide you safely to your destination.
Connected Navigation
The dispatcher can control the truck navigation system right from headquarters. Thanks to job files (RC interface) and interfaces in C and C# (RI interface) map&guide truck navigator can communicate with headquarters via middleware. These functions can be used to:
Send one or more stop-off points to the navigation system right from headquarters
Retrieve GPS positions from the navigation system and share them with third-party applications
Start and stop mobile navigation
Send messages to the navigation system and display them there
New: Headquarters can access and reset vehicle profiles (e.g. from "empty run" to "loaded run"

@drwatson ar trebui sa precizezi sursa de unde ai softul si hartile si MAI ALES DACA IN ARHIVA ai si SN sau "doctoria" altfel acest soft poate fi utilizat doar 30 de zile !!!
