Joshua and the Battle of Jericho (2003)
Joshua & The Battle Of Jericho is one of the most inspiring stories in the Old Testament. It suggests that anything can be accomplished when one has faith in God. Now, with this beautifully animated film, you and your family can experience the power of this classic tale.
As the story begins, we learn that the Israelites-under the leadership of Moses-have been wandering the wilderness for forty years. Now, they are about to enter the Promised Land. But Moses will not be going with them. His time has come to join God in Heaven. And so, a young man named Joshua is appointed to take Moses' place.
Like Moses, Joshua realizes that nothing can be accomplished without God's help. The Lord rewards Joshua for his faith by revealing a plan that will allow the Israelites to take the city of Jericho.
As the action unfolds, we witness a series of divine miracles reminiscent of those which allowed the Israelites to escape from Egypt many years earlier. And eventually, we rejoice with them, as they enter the Promised Land.

Sodom And Gomorrah (2003)
Throughout the Old Testament, God demonstrates His willingness to punish sinners. Indeed, on several occasions, He destroys entire populations because they have turned their backs on Him. But always, He manages to find one good man who will carry on an set an example for the rest of humanity. Abraham was such a man. And he is the central character in the powerful story of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Now, with this beautifully animated film, you and your family can experience this story together. As the story opens, Abraham (or Abram, as he is initially called) is a mere teenager. But as he grows into manhood, it becomes clear that God has important plans for him. "You are a righteous man," God says. "Therefore I will make your descendants into a great nation. Go, therefore, to the land I will show you."
Abraham obeys and brings his wife Sarah along with him. In the course of their journeys, Abraham and Sarah experience many difficulties. They witness the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and in the process learn an important lesson about God's wrath. Many years later, Abraham faces the greatest test of all. He must make a choice between his love for God and his love for his only son. The story ends happily, of course. But in the process, it conveys an important message about the power of faith.

As the story begins, we learn that the Israelites - God's chosen people - have been enslaved by the ruler of Egypt. For many years, they labour without reward. But finally, God decides that He will put an end to their oppression. He calls on one man - Moses - to lead His people to freedom.
Moses is initially reluctant. He does not consider himself to be a leader of men. But he has faith in God. And at last he obeys the Lord's command.
With God's help, Moses leads the Israelites out of Egypt, across the Red Sea and into the wilderness. There, they experience hardships and many of them threaten to rebel.
But Moses does not give up. And when he receives from God two stone tablets bearing the Ten Commandments, the people realise that Moses has indeed been acting in accordance with God's will.
